Frenchmen Enter Into "Oblivion" September 5!

Our second CD, "Oblivion," will debut with a CD release show at Molly Malone's in Covington Friday, September 5 at 9pm.  Look for several new original Faux Frenchmen compositions in addition to some jazz and pop nuggets from the great Franco-American Songbook.

Our first CD features the eclectic mix of 30's jazz, pop gems, and cartoon music our fans and friends know from our live performances.  Available at Shake It Records in Northside, Everybody's Records in Pleasant Ridge, Cincinnati area Joseph Beth and Barnes and Noble stores, Wizard's, Tink's Cafe in Clifton, all of our live shows, and online at http://cdbaby.com/cd/fauxfrenchmen

September Highlights

The night after our Molly Malone's show, we'll be in Louisville for the International Society of Jazz record Collectors annual convention.  Our performance will be open to the public; see our "gigs page for more details.

On the horizon, we'll be opening for the Hot Club of Nashville Friday, November 21 at the Twentieth Century Theater in Oakley.  More info on HCoN at:

 Tink's Mondays

Tink's will be closed Monday, September 1, for something you Americans call "Labour Day."  See you Monday Sept 8!

Dig Tink's new menu at www.tinkscafe.com!

We’re in our sixth year of Monday FakeFrancoFreneticism at Tink’s Café, 3410 Telford Avenue in Clifton, near Graeter's and the Esquire Theatre.  Hear us weekly from 6:30-9pm.  Great food, Gypsamerican jazz, the more-than-occasional Joe Lukasik sighting, and rarely an authentic Frenchman or gypsy within miles.  Our Psychedelic Psister Troubadour Dali is at Tink's every Thursday evening, same time.

Reservations at (513) 961-6500

The Guys (and Girls!) Get Shirts

The ever-talented Cathy Lovely's cover design from our first CD is now a swellegant t-shirt.  Available in men's and women's styles at all Faux Frenchmen shows, whether you're a member of Paul Anka's band or not.

Our My Space

Hear audio samples, see Michael Wilson Faux-tos, read George's blog, and ponder why so many people spend so much time on their computers at our My Space site.
